Isabelle Solal
Isabelle Solal is an Assistant Professor of Management at ESSEC, where she teaches courses on entrepreneurship and organisational behaviour. Dr. Solal’s research focuses on the mechanisms that lead to inequality in labor and financial markets. In particular, her work examines how gender shapes audience interpretations of market signals, impacting for example the allocation of investment capital to early stage entrepreneurs. Prior to joining academia, Professor Solal worked as an attorney in the areas of investment dispute resolution and sports regulation, as well as in management consulting. She holds a Ph.D. and a MBA from INSEAD.
