Karine Lamiraud
Karine Lamiraud is Professor of Health Economics, chair holder of the Chair of Innovation and Health and academic co-director of the MS SMIS (Stratégie et Management des Industries de Santé) at ESSEC. Karine graduated from HEC and holds a PhD from Paris School of Economics and the University of Lausanne. Before joining ESSEC, Karine was Assistant Professor of Health Economics at the University of Lausanne for over four years. Karine also worked with Eli Lilly and was an economist with GlaxoSmithKline before starting an academic career. Karine was the Associate Dean of Faculty at ESSEC from 2015 to 2022. Her research focuses mostly on Health Economics. Karine chaired the Scientific Committee of EuHEA Seminar Series in 2022-23. Karine is an associate editor of Health Economics, and a co-organizer of the Asian Workshop on Econometrics and Health Economics.
