Marie’s research fields include applied probability and mathematical statistics with a focus on Gaussian processes, extreme values and more recently, risk analysis. These fields find natural applications in market finance and actuarial sciences that she is developing at ESSEC. Since 2009, Marie has been organizing a working group in risk analysis at ESSEC with Academics and Professionals as well as conferences on the topic. She is Scientific Director of the ESSEC-ISUP actuarial track and Vice President of the group “Banque, Finance, Assurance” at SFdS (French Society of Statistics). She holds a Doctorate in Applied Mathematics, Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris.
