
Jan Lepoutre
Jan Lepoutre has a degree in bioscience engineering (KULeuven) and a master and PhD in applied economic sciences (Ghent University). He is keen on innovating and entrepreneurial projects, especially those focusing on environmental issues. Professor for the Management Department and member of the Chaire Armand Peugeot, his research and teaching revolve mainly around daily life and strategies of the innovation and entrepreneurial organization. Currently, he focuses on the emergence of electric vehicles. His work has appeared in Academy of Management Journal, American Journal of Sociology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Cleaner Production and Small Business Economics, among others. He intervenes or has intervened in various programs at ESSEC, most of the time with innovative pedagogy. For instance, among others, he has created the Going Pro experience, for which he was awarded the Prize Daniel Tixier for pedagogic innovation in 2016. He is also a fellow of the ESSEC Ventures investment committee of start-up funds and helps many start-ups and intrapreneurs.
