Cristina Alaimo
Cristina Alaimo is Associate Professor at ESSEC Business School. She earned her PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her research investigates how data-based services, digital platforms, and AI-driven systems reshape markets, organizations, and society. Her work has been published in leading journals including Organization Science, Organization Studies, and Journal of Information Technology. She is co-author of Data Rules: Reinventing the Market Economy, winner of the EGOS Book Award 2025. Cristina serves as Senior Editor at Organization Studies and the European Journal of Information Systems, and sits on the editorial boards of Journal of Management Information Systems. In 2025, she was named to the Thinkers50 Radar list.
